Ballet Theatre UK Day 2

Woke up feeling pleasantly exhausted- but not aching as I thought I would've been! :) Today was all ballet; class with Tania Matos from the National Ballet of Portugal was really fun! We went right back to (advanced 1 level!) basics, and really focused on using the plié, in turns, fondus, jumps... Next, we had a solos class in which we learnt the Scottish and Spanish Doll dances from Coppelia. I loved the vivacious charisma of the Spanish piece, but the Scottish was just too "fiddly" and fast! After lunch, Tania choreographed an exciting piece based upon a hailstorm, with quick, light bourrees and fast turns! Lastly, Chris went over his choreography, and we learnt the end section of the dance (Im on the front row, yeyyah!!!) :D
